i just didn't want the z to have a salvaged title. my car is one of the nicest z's i've ever scene. there are a few people on tt.net and 300zxclub.com that have scene my car. i do have a written quote and a recorded conversation of the original price. idaho is a one party conscent state so only one person needs to no that they are being recorded. sorry about the pro bono word......meant to say get paid after winning. okay now that we have that straightened out, any other advice. :It means "free" to you. I wonder if you could collect the car based on the quote and the money you've paid him. If you actually give him more money, it can be construed as your admitting that you should give it to him. It seems you could find a lawyer who'd do it for expenses, then wait until you win to get the gist of his money, if he is that sure you'll win. You should be able to include legal fees in your suit. Document your attempts to remedy the situation and collect before going to court. Did you consider smalls claims court? Do you have a written quote?
